Xiaomi on Tuesday launched the much-awaited Xiaomi 12T series in the European markets. The series includes the Xiaomi 12T and Xiaomi 12T Pro, both of which offer premium internals in different price segments.
Some of the highlights of the series include 200MP cameras, up to 8K video recording, and 120W HyperCharge support.
Xiaomi 12T and Xiaomi 12T Pro Specifications
The design of the Xiaomi 12T series is similar to that of the Redmi K50 Ultra. Xiaomi 12T Duo sports a 6.67-inch OLED display with full-HD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. Both have a 480Hz touch sampling rate and 1200 nits brightness. Both phones have Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection.
The 12T packs a triple camera system with a 108MP Samsung ISCOCELL HM6 sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro snapper. On the other hand, the 12T Pro sports a triple camera system consisting of a 200MP main lens, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro lens. The main lens on the Pro supports OIS. For taking selfies, both have a 20MP Sony IMX596 camera on the front.
Under the hood, the 12T is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 8100 SoC paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The 12T Pro is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Both the phones have LPDDR5 RAM type and UFS 3.1 internal storage.
Both the phones pack a 5,000mAh battery that supports 120W HyperCharge. Both the phones have IR blaster, stereo speakers and Dolby Atmos support. The device boots to Android 12 OS out of the box and has MIUI 13 on top. Both phones support 5G connectivity, Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2. There is also NFC and GPS.
Xiaomi 12T and Xiaomi 12T Pro Price, Colours, Availability
The price of Xiaomi 12T starts at EUR 599 (approximately Rs 48,400), while the price of Xiaomi 12T Pro starts at EUR 749 (approximately Rs 60,600). The pair comes in Cosmic Black, Clear Black and Lunar Silver colours. The series will be available for purchase from the authorized stores from October 13.
