Xiaomi 12 series has finally debuted on the global stage today. The brand’s flagship smartphone series that was unveiled in China last December has now entered the global market. All three have been launched with a starting price of $649. Here are the global prices, specifications and availability details.
Xiaomi 12, Xiaomi 12 Pro, Xiaomi 12X Price, Availability
The price of the vanilla model Xiaomi 12 starts at $749 (approximately Rs 57,200) for the 8GB/128GB storage variant. Meanwhile, the premium Xiaomi 12 Pro is priced at $999 (approximately Rs.76,300) for the 8GB/256GB storage variant. The cheapest model in the series, the Xiaomi 12X, comes with a price tag of $649 (roughly Rs.49,600) for the standard model with 8GB/128GB storage. The new lineup will be available in three colors – Blue, Gray and Purple color options.

As far as the specifications sheet is concerned, all the three Xiaomi 12 smartphones share some similar aspects like 32-megapixel front-facing camera, MIUI 13 based Android 12 OS.
In terms of display, the Xiaomi 12 and 12X get a 6.28-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with 1,080×2,400 pixel resolution. While the Xiaomi 12 Pro sports a slightly taller 6.73-inch WQHD+ E5 AMOLED panel with 120Hz dynamic refresh rate and LTPO backplane technology. For internals, the 12 and 12 Pro get the premium Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. Meanwhile, Xiaomi 12X comes with Snapdragon 870 chipset.
On the camera front, the Xiaomi 12 and 12X offer a triple camera system consisting of a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 primary sensor, a 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor and a 5-megapixel macro sensor. The Xiaomi 12 Pro gets a 50-megapixel Sony IMX707 primary sensor, a 50-megapixel portrait sensor, and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor. For battery backup, the vanilla, and 12X models pack a 4,500mAh battery with a 67W fast charging solution, while the 12 Pro ships with a 4,600mAh battery and 120W fast charging support. The Pro model also comes with 50W wireless charging and 10W reverse wireless charging support.
Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth v5.2, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, infrared (IR), and a USB-C port, and Harman Kardon tuned speakers.
