Xbox Series X price hiked by 6% in India
There is no clear reason why the price of the console has been hiked, but it is believed to be due to fluctuations in the exchange rates of the Indian rupee. For those people, the company recently increased the price of Xbox Series S. Not only the console, but also the cost of peripherals is expensive.
The Series S went from Rs. 34,990 to Rs. 36,990. Peripherals like Xbox Wireless Controller are now priced at Rs. 5,590 from Rs. 5,390. The price of the headset has been increased from Rs. 8,990 to 9,490.
If the reason for the price increase is exchange rate fluctuations, other consoles may also get a price increase. However, no information has been given about this.
Coming to the Xbox Series X, the price on Flipkart and Reliance Digital remains unchanged for now, but the console is out of stock on both the platforms. This could mean that the console will soon be listed at a new price.
On prepaid gamers, however, the console is being listed at a new price. The console is listed for Rs. 52,990. Plus, it’s in stock, which means you can buy it right away. The Series S, which was said to get a price hike, has also been listed for the new price on the website. But it is currently at a discounted price of Rs. 32,499.
