WhatsApp new feature

WhatsApp has introduced a new feature to make things smoother for people. Now this is for archived chat. The messaging app has introduced a new setting that will help keep archived chats where they are. They no longer pop up when they receive a message.

This will help people keep their priority chat windows up and the less important ones in a separate folder.

New WhatsApp feature has been introduced for archived chats

To keep things in perspective, chats you’ve saved on WhatsApp will be in a folder, even when a new message appears from those chats. Until now, archived chats come out of their folders whenever a new message appears.

The feature is a default setting and will work until you remove them from the archive. If you want to go back to archiving those chats, you can do that too.

The feature is another attempt by WhatsApp to help people have uninterrupted conversations. This will help them to keep their priorities in front of their eyes.

WhatsApp said in a press release, “We know that you don’t always have to be in front of and at the center of everything. We want to make sure that WhatsApp remains a private and secure place where you can talk to people you care about and where you are. You have control over your messages. “

Here’s what to do if you don’t know how to archive a chat:

Step 1: Open WhatsApp on your Android or iOS device.

Step 2: In iOS, swipe right to get the archive option. Tap the option to archive the chat.

Step 3: Swipe down to access archived chats and you’ll find the folder to view them. You can archive chats by swiping right.

Step 4: On Android, long-press a chat and type in the archive icon (down arrow) to do the job.

Step 5: You need to follow the same instructions as in iOS to view archived chats. To archive a chat, go to the Archives folder and long-press the chat to get the option.

The post will keep WhatsApp archived chats wherever they are, even if a new message appears first on BGR India.
