WhatsApp, one of the most popular instant messaging applications worldwide, is reportedly working on a new feature called ‘Push Name’. When you receive a message from an unknown contact in a group chat, Push replaces the name phone number in the chat list. This is achieved by swapping the positions of phone numbers and pushing names within message bubbles to make it easier for users to identify unknown group participants.
