Want to buy Ola Electric Scooter? your wait will be over soon

Ola Electric launched the S1 and S1 Pro scooters last year, but the delivery took a long time. Promised to start the delivery process in October and then pushed forward to November, the scooters started reaching consumers only by mid-December. The company is blaming the lack of chips for the delay in the delivery of the scooter. But is this really the main reason? Who knows.

The EV manufacturing company now claims that they have ramped up production, which clearly indicates that you will be able to buy the scooter once again very soon. In a recent tweet, the company’s CEO Bhavesh Agarwal said that Ola is churning out 1,000 units per day. Following the update, the company has also confirmed the opening of the purchase window for the remaining customers.

Although the exact date is yet to be confirmed, sources close to bgr.in has revealed that the purchase window for the Ola S1 series will open in the second fortnight of January. The purchase window will first open for those buyers who had paid a pre-booking amount of Rs 20,000 but could not place the order. After this the company can start taking new orders.

So, if you are looking to buy Ola S1 e-Scooter and missed out on the first round of purchase, you don’t need to wait too long.

Ola has recently announced to deliver around 4,000 S1 scooters to the customers since the start of the delivery process on December 15, 2021. Pricing-wise, the Ola S comes at a price of Rs 199,999, while the upgraded Ola S1 Pro is priced at Rs. 29,999.

Ever since the launch of Ola S1 and S1 Pro, the electric vehicle maker has been in constant discussion, mostly for all the wrong reasons. The company has been promising unrealistic targets from the beginning, therefore, perhaps it should first deliver all the booked units and then move on to the next round of procurement.
