Vodafone Idea’s new Rs 327 monthly plan compared to Jio and Airtel’s 30-day plan

Vodafone Idea or Vi users have got two new plans with monthly validity. The move comes weeks after TRAI directed telcos to offer at least one prepaid plan with full one month subscription. Earlier, telcos used to provide validity of only 28 days which is less than a month. This leads to 13 different recharges every year instead of just 12. Vodafone Idea has responded to TRAI’s instructions with two new plans, one with a validity of 31 days and the other with a validity of 30 days.

Vi 327 Plan

The new Vi plan is offering a total of 25GB data for a validity of 30 days. This plan also includes the benefit of 100SMS per day along with unlimited voice calling. Other benefits include access to Vi Movies and TV Classic on the telecom carrier’s app.

Vi 337 Plan

The Rs 337 plan is the better of the two, with an additional cost of Rs 10, as compared to Rs 327, which gives the subscriber a validity of 31 days and a total of 28 GB of high-speed data. Rest of the benefits remain the same, it offers 100 SMS per day, unlimited voice calling and even access to movies and shows on V Movie and TV app.

Airtel Rs 296 plan

A total of 25GB data is available in this plan. 50p/mb will be charged after the data tariff quota is met. It has 30 days validity and unlimited voice calling facility. Users will also get 100 SMS daily.

Additional benefits include a free trial of Amazon Prime Video for 30 days. However, the benefit will be available only once per user. Users will also get the benefit of Apollo 24/7 Circle at no extra cost for 3 months. User will be eligible for 1 year free courses to upskill with Shaw Academy. Users will also get a cashback of Rs 100 on FASTag. You also get free access to Wynk Music.

Reliance Jio Rs 296 plan

Reliance Jio plan of Rs 296 also offers a validity of 30 days. It offers the same amount of data which is 25GB. After the data limit is exhausted, the subscriber will get internet at 64kbps speed. Unlimited voice calling is also available in this plan. In terms of subscription, the company is offering services from JioTV, JioCinema, JioSecurity and JioCloud.
