Vivo T2 5G series coming on April 11: Here’s what we know so far

Vivo is all set to launch its Vivo T2 series smartphone in India soon. The upcoming smartphone series is the successor to last year’s Vivo T1 5G series of smartphones and will be arriving in India on April 11 at 12 noon. Ahead of the official launch date, Vivo India has already confirmed that its upcoming smartphone series will be exclusively available in India. Through Flipkart and offline retail stores. Furthermore, the company has confirmed that the Vivo T2 5G series of smartphones will include two models – the base Vivo T2 5G and the smarter, Vivo T2X 5G smartphone.

Apart from the launch details and availability, the company has also shared information about the features and specifications of the upcoming Vivo T2 5G series smartphones. Here’s what we know about the upcoming Vivo T2 series smartphones:

  • Both the smartphones, i.e. Vivo T2 5G and Vivo T2X 5G, will come with Full HD+ AMOLED display panels, with a punch-hole camera in the center of the screen. They will offer 1,300 nits peak brightness and 360Hz touch sampling rate.

Both the phones will sport a flat-screen design with a metallic chassis, similar to last year’s Vivo T1 5G smartphone. It will be available in Golden Yellow and Sea Green color variants.

On the camera front, Vivo has revealed that the Vivo T2 5G series smartphones will come with a dual rear camera setup that includes a 64-megapixel primary camera with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) feature and a 2-megapixel Bokeh lens. This rear camera setup will be paired with an LED flash and housed inside the two circular camera modules at the back of the phone.

Talking about the processor, the company has revealed that the upcoming T-series smartphones will be powered by Qualcomm’s 6nm Snapdragon 695 5G system-on-chip (SoC).

Apart from this, Vivo has not revealed anything about its upcoming smartphone. We’ll know more about the two phones next week.
