After several other studios, now it’s Ubisoft. The game studio has announced that it will not be attending E3 2023 this year. This comes as the company said that it has a lot to show at the E3 Expo.
Ubisoft will announce its plans in Ubisoft Forward
Ubisoft shared a statement with VGC regarding their absence at the upcoming event.
“E3 has fostered unforgettable moments throughout the industry through the years.” “While we initially intended to have an official E3 appearance, we have since decided to go in a different direction, and will be holding a Ubisoft Forward live event on June 12th in Los Angeles. We will be able to share more with our players very soon. Looking forward to sharing the details.
Instead of appearing at E3, Ubisoft has decided to host its own event that will coincide with E3.
The game studio will be hosting Ubisoft Forward on June 12 around the same time. We expect the company to reveal a few things, as said earlier.
Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot said, “If E3 happens, we’ll be there and we’ll have a lot to show.”
Ubisoft has a big project up its sleeve, Assassin’s Creed Mirage. The game will release later this year, so expect to learn more about the game at the event.
In addition, there’s Tom Clancy’s The Division’s Heartland, the much-delayed Skull & Bones, and the much-anticipated project – Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora.
It’s worth noting that there are several other big names that will be absent from the E3 Expo this year. Some time ago Microsoft and Nintendo confirmed that they would not be attending the event. Sony hasn’t yet revealed whether it will be showcasing anything at the expo. So basically, E3 will be missing out on some of the top names in the industry.
The post Ubisoft will not participate in E3 2023, instead, it will host its own show which was previously featured on Techlusive.
