Oppo Reno 6 Pro to go on sale from July 20: All you need to know about it

Oppo last week rebuilt its high-end Renault 6 series lineup in India with just two new models. The regular Renault 6 is priced at Rs 29,990 for a single variant in India, while the high-end Renault 6 Pro is priced at Rs 39,990. Oppo is now going to sell the Renault 6 Pro 5G at 12 midnight on July 20th.

The Oppo Renault 6 Pro will sell both color variants of the 5G for Rs 39,990. The first sale will see a cashback of Rs 4,000 for transactions through HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank and Kotak Bank credit card / debit card EMI transactions. Buyers can get 15 percent instant cashback for transactions through Paytm. Bajaj Finzer EMI schemes will provide a cash box of Rs 4,000.

Oppo Renault 6 Pro Space and Features

The Oppo Renault 6 Pro is basically a beefed-up variant of the Renault 5 Pro launched earlier this year. Instead of the MediaTek Dimension 1000+ chip, the Renault 6 Pro gets a newer and faster Dimension 1200 chip. We recently reviewed the device and found that it offers adequate performance expected from a high-end smartphone.

Combined with 12GB of RAM and Oppo ColorOS 11.3 software, the Renault 6 Pro 5G is a fast and effortless performer. In the case of synthetic benchmarks, the Dimension 1200 chip delivers the same level of performance as the Snapdragon 870 chip.

The rest of the features and specs are very similar to the Renault 5 Pro. This means you’ll still get a 6.5-inch 1080p AMOLED display with curved edges and a refresh rate of up to 90Hz. A smaller cutout contains a 32-megapixel front camera. The rear has a special treatment glass that Oppo prefers to like Reno Glow. It creates a matte glass finish with reflective gradient colors.

The Renault 6 Pro Bokeh Flyer prides itself on portrait video made possible by the 644-megapixel main rear camera. Camera performance is great for both still photos and video for its department. The 4500 mAh battery keeps the phone alive and has a 65W fast wired charging solution for top-ups.
