Back in April, IQU announced two new high-end smartphones for India. One was the IQU7 legend that got all the attention with its BMW M-inspired colors and the other was the IQ7. IQU7 was originally a new IQ5 from China, but it left our sister publication, BGR Hindi, quite fascinated. IQ now has plans to release a new color version of the same color, or so it seems.
The company is teasing a new look of IQO7 through its social media channels. There is no disclosure as to exactly what this version will offer over the existing version. Based on the artwork, it looks like IQU could bring the orange variant that it sells in China. The Chinese version, known as IQU5 Neo, gets a third orange color, written in a more daring fashion with “Neo” realm.
New variants of IQ7 are coming
An orange variant of IQU7 would be suitable as the logical successor to the same color version of IQU3 The company launched ICQ3 in 2020 with a unique orange version that sold in limited quantities. Looks like IQO will want to bring back the bright color variant similar to the phone.
Currently available in IQO 7 5G Storm Black and Solid Ice Blue. The phone relies on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chip, which is basically an overclocked version of the Snapdragon 865 from last year. IQ also offers a 120Hz AMOLED display on this phone which is paired with a MEMC chip to increase the frame rate.
The monsters are awake and ready to illuminate the whole city.
Stay tuned for all new incarnations of IQ7.

The IQU7 relies on a 4500 mAh battery and uses a 66W flash charged wired solution for quick refill. For cameras, the IQ7 uses a 48-megapixel main camera sensor with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera. The third camera is just a 2-megapixel mono sensor. In India, the phone currently starts at Rs 31,990.
Launched in two generic colors, IQU7 Legend only comes in a BMW M version. The legend also uses the more powerful Snapdragon 888 chip and better camera.
