Tata Motors has announced that the Tiago EV, the newest entry in its EV family, has received over 10,000 bookings and the carmaker has also increased the special introductory pricing, which is Rs 8.49 lakh (All India – Ex- Showroom) till one extra. 10,000 customers.
Elaborating on the introductory offering, Shailesh Chandra, Managing Director, Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Limited and Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Limited said, “We are delighted with the overwhelming response to the Tiago EV and thank our customers for embarking on the EV journey. Recognizing the passion for going EV and strongly supporting mass adoption of EVs, we have decided to expand the introductory price to an additional 10,000 customers.

Bookings can be made at any authorized Tata Motors dealership or at https://tiagoev.tatamotors.com/ with an amount of Rs 21,000.

Customer test drives will be available from the end of December 2022.
· Deliveries of Tiago ev will start from January 2023.
The type and color chosen, along with the time, date, will determine the date of delivery of the vehicle.

Tata Tiago EV Range
The Tata Tiago EV gets two battery pack options powering the EV. It gets a 24 kWh battery pack with a MIDC range of 315 km. There is also a smaller battery pack offering a range of 250 km with 19.2 kWh. Four charging options are available in the EV. It can be charged at home using a 15A socket, 3.3kW AC charger, 7.2kW AC home charger and DC fast charger.
Tata Tiago EV Interior & Features
In terms of design, the Tiago EV is similar to the ICE-powered Tiago, which was facelifted in 2020. The Tiago EV gets a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and other connected car technologies. The EV gets multi-mode region braking which was first introduced with the Nexon EV Max. The Tiago EV gets automatic climate control, rain-sensing wipers, automatic headlamps, push button start/stop and cruise control. For safety, the electric car gets ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, rear parking camera and seat belt reminder.
