Tata Group Executive Chairman N Chandrasekaran said that in the near future, Tata New will have brands from other companies as well. The app, launched a week ago, currently offers a range of services through brands owned by the group.
“Our aim is to ensure that New becomes a super app that simplifies the life of every consumer from the point of view of product, services and financial needs. And the offerings for that can come from the Tata table or come from outside, “N Chandrasekaran said,
Tata owned brands like BigBasket, 1mg, Croma, AirAsia, Tata Cliq, Westside, among others are available on Super App. Since its launch, the app has been downloaded by more than 2.2 million users and transactions are “significantly high,” the company claims.
While addressing the journalists, Chandrasekaran also said, “Today, no solution has been developed keeping in mind the Indian consumer. We have brought all our consumer brands on a single platform. This has brought a lot of synergy to the group and broadened the value proposition for the Indian consumer. ,
Chandrasekaran also said that the development of the TataNew app will be determined by the consumers and not by contracts.
Tata New is also introducing its UPI-based payment service and New Digital Wallet. The Tata UPI address can be used to make payments to various merchants just by scanning the QR code.
While some products are being offered at discounted prices, the main benefits can be earned by using new coins. The app will reward users for every transaction made on the platform. If you shop on Tata New then you will get at least 5% NewCoin. Each newcoin will be equal to Rs.
