Spotify is offering three months free access to the premium plan. The new offer is valid until 15th August and is available on personal plan but there is a condition.
Three-month free access to individual plans will only be available if you have purchased a six-month plan. The six-month premium plan costs Rs 719 and with the purchase you will get an additional benefit of three months. Also, this offer is only applicable for those who are not using the recurring premium plan and those who have not purchased the 12-month one-time premium plan at a promotional price.
Notably, the Spotify Premium plan has four categories – Mini, Private, Duo and Family. As mentioned earlier, the offer is only available with personal plans priced at Rs. 129 for one month, Rs. 719 for six months and Rs. 1,189 for one year.
The new offer will be available on both the Spotify website and the app. The premium plan provides support for downloading multiple devices and more than 10,000 songs. It also empties the annoying 30-second ad that runs into a free model song or podcast. Users can also have group listening sessions. The social network saw a 20 percent increase in subscribers paid for its premium services last month, reaching 165 million subscribers at the end of the last quarter.
That said, Spotify recently introduced a new ‘WhatsApp New’ feed feature that collects new music and content from musicians and follows podcasts on a Spotify user platform.
“Following the new key creators makes it easy to catch all the latest songs and episodes. Plus, it’s even updated in real-time, so you know you’ll hear it as soon as new content is released, ”Spotify said at the time.
The feed is updated in real-time and works similar to Spotify’s already available release radar playlist.
