Music streaming platform Spotify has introduced its new “Nice Mixes” feature which is a set of personalized playlists that feature all the mixes in a playful way.
To use the new feature, users can navigate to the “Made for You” hub within the Search tab to find five to 10 mixes that the company thinks they’ll like, the platform said in a blogpost on Tuesday. .
“If you want to be super specific, search for an activity, vibe, or aesthetic that describes the moment you’re in, and then add the word ‘mix’ to the end.”
Mixes are available to everyone globally for free and premium users who search Spotify in English.
Current Mixes include – Mood Mix, Decade Mix and Genre Mix. And, with the launch of the new Exclusive Mix, the company has expanded its Mix family.
Last month, the music streaming platform launched its personalized music feature ‘DJ’, which is powered by Artificial Intelligence (AI).
The company defines the DJ feature as a personalized AI guide that knows users and their “musical tastes” so well that it can choose what to play for them.
