Under the partnership, BGMI players will have the opportunity to win special items such as cooperation skins by completing in-game missions. More details about gameplay and items will be revealed with the rollout of the BGMI version 1.8 update in mid-January.

Starting today, players can start completing in-game missions to collect cooperation skins, other collaboration content such as mini-games, special missions will come with the BGMI version 1.8 update. While Crafton has mentioned that the BGMI version 1.8 update will be released in the middle of this month, the official launch date and collaboration and other details of the update are yet to be revealed.

“This exciting collaboration will allow fans around the world to expand their engagement with their friendly neighborhood Spider-Man through BGMI’s state-of-the-art gaming experience – all while on the go with their mobile phones,” said Jeffrey Godsick, EVP Head of Global Partnerships and Brand Management and Location-Based Entertainment at Sony Pictures Entertainment.

All the content offered in Fortnite includes skins, harvesting equipment, gliders, emotes, back bling, two premium skins for Spider-Man and MJ.

To recall, back in November, Crafton partnered with Riot Games to bring content from their popular Netflix arcane series to BGMI with its version 1.7 update. As part of the partnership, the company added characters, locations, items, and a new piggyback mode. In addition, the company also added a Mirror World mode, where it allowed gamers to transform their characters into Arcane’s V, Jinx, Zeus, or Caitlin. With the Spider-Man: No Way Home collaboration, we look forward to seeing the Mirror World mode return.

In other news, the Battleground Mobile India series is about to end soon. Ahead of the final, it has been announced that the final of the esports tournament will be played by all finalists on the iQOO 7 Legend.
