Sony’s PlayStation 5 gaming console will be back in stock in India soon. Sony has officially announced the re-stocking of the PlayStation 5 gaming console on the Sony Center website. According to the listing on Sony Center’s website, the PS5 gaming console will be available for pre-order on December 28 from 12 noon. The standard version of the device will be available at a price of Rs 49,990, while the digital version will be available. 39,990 on the platform at a price of Rs.
Apart from Sony Center, PlayStation 5 will also be available for pre-order in India on other e-retail platforms including Amazon, Flipkart and Croma. Like Sony Center, PlayStation 5 is listed to be available for pre-order on December 28 at 12PM on Amazon India. On the other hand, Indian e-retail platform Flipkart shows the device as ‘Coming Soon’. The PlayStation 5 gaming console is also listed on the Chroma India website. While the platform shows the gaming console to be available for purchase, the option to keep it in cart is not working at the moment.
Beyond these platforms, the PlayStation 5 gaming console is also expected to be available for pre-order on other platforms, including Game Loot, Games the Shop, Victory Sales and Prepaid Gamer Cards next week.
It is worth noting that the PlayStation 5 will go on pre-order on December 28 on Amazon India and Sony Center, but there is no estimated delivery date available on either of the platforms.
When was the last PlayStation 5 restock?
Earlier, the last restock of the Sony PlayStation 5 gaming console took place on December 6. At the time, the gaming console sold out within minutes of being ready for pre-orders in the country.
Sony launched its PlayStation 4 successor – the PlayStation 5 – gaming console in November last year. Since then, it has been available in short supply around the world. While the company has tried to restock the gaming console time and again, the device is still quite difficult to get hold of.
