Josh.ai, a US-based artificial intelligence company known for developing voice-controlled home automation systems, has started working on a prototype integration using OpenAI’s ChatGPT.
Turn on the lights, what’s the temperature, you might have asked your voice assistant like Alexa or Siri, but instead of such questions, imagine your voice assistant could also answer vague comments like “I’ve had a rough day.” ; What’s a good way to relax?
According to Alex Cappellatro, co-founder of Josh.e Home Automation Systems, this is the potential of voice assistants powered by new AI language models.
“We are thrilled to work together to bring the best of Josh.ee and ChatGPT together to create something truly remarkable – a solution where one plus one equals three. By combining our strengths, we envision delivering an AI experience that is beyond the capability of any smart home,” he added.
In addition, Capeselatro provided some examples of how the ChatGPT-enabled voice assistant would work.
“OK Josh, Tell Me a Bedtime Story”, where Josh.e+ChatGPT will provide stories based on home location and other factors unique to the family.
“Okay Josh, the kids are coming and it’s getting dark can you make sure the kitchen is ready for them?” Where Josh.E+ChatGPT can make up the right space.
