After announcing a partnership with Google earlier this year, Samsung has finally unveiled the Galaxy Watch 4 series based on the new Wear OS platform. There is a Galaxy Watch 4 with a sleek design and the Galaxy Watch 4 brings back the classic rotating bezel. The Galaxy Buds 2 is another addition to Earbud’s varied Buds lineup.

The Galaxy Watch 4 series is based on the new Wear OS platform developed in collaboration with Samsung Google. Samsung is running a One UI Watch interface on top of it to provide a customized experience. As always, the Galaxy Watch 4 will work best with Samsung phones but it will also be a compatible non-Samsung phone.

The Watch 4 is equipped with Samsung’s Bioactive Sensor which uses a chip to run three powerful health sensors – Optical Heart Rate, Electrical Heart and Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis. It allows clients to monitor their blood pressure, detect an AFib irregular heartbeat, measure their blood oxygen levels and calculate their body composition.

Using a custom 5nm processor in the Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 series, the Exynos W920 Dual Core chip promises 20 percent faster CPU, 10 times faster GPU, 1.5GB RAM and 16GB onboard memory. Samsung says you can expect up to 40 hours of battery life and your 10 hours of battery will take 30 minutes.

The 40mm model displays with a resolution of 1.2-inch 396 x 396 pixels and the 44mm version has a 1.4-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 450 x 450 pixels. There is always support for on-display functionality.

The Galaxy Watch 4 comes in 40mm and 44mm sizes and starts at $ 249.99 for the Bluetooth version and $ 299.99 for the LTE model. The 40mm variant will be available in Black, Silver and Pink Gold, while the 44mm variant will be available in Black, Silver and Green. The Galaxy Watch 4 with rotating bezel will start at $ 349.99 for the classic Bluetooth version and $ 399.99 for the LTE model. It is available in Black and Silver 42mm and 46mm variants.

Galaxy Buds 2 will be available in four colors – graphite, white, olive and lavender.
