Samsung Galaxy M54 5G is set to arrive with a Snapdragon 888 SoC

Samsung’s upcoming smartphone will come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset. This might not surprise you, but what if we told you that the device would be coming in the mid-range segment, specifically, it would be an M-series smartphone?

Yes, you read that right. According to new information circulated online through a YouTube channel called The Pixel, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy M54 5G will come with a Snapdragon 888 SoC.

The M-series Samsung phones start from the budget range and end in the mid-range segment. The maximum limit comes up to Rs 30,000. The Galaxy M53 5G is currently selling for Rs 24,999 for the 8GB RAM variant and Rs 21,999 for the 6GB RAM variant.

That being said, the Galaxy M54 5G is expected to be priced close to the range of its predecessor, which is around Rs 30,000.

Now, if leaks are to be believed, the Galaxy M54 5G with Snapdragon 888 SoC will be a great device for this price segment.

Furthermore, the Galaxy M54 5G is said to come with a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate. It is said to have 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. The battery of the device is also expected to improve i.e. a bigger 6,000mAh cell.

The M53 5G has a 108MP quad-camera system, which tells us it will be improved this time around. However, according to the YouTube channel, it will have a 64MP triple camera system. On the front, there is expected to be a 32MP snapper for selfies.

It all sounds good but it doesn’t look like what Samsung will do. Although Samsung can surprise its fans this time, who knows?

It is worth noting that this is just a leak and has not been confirmed by the brand. Samsung hasn’t spilled the beans on it yet.

Samsung Galaxy M54 5G to come with Snapdragon 888 SoC first appeared on BGR India.
