Samsung has accidentally released the teaser of the next unpacked event. The leaked teaser features an image of the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 with a launch date of August 11th. The caption also suggests folding phones, but makes no mention of Samsung’s upcoming War smartwatches.
The teaser was later removed from the website, but it was fixed long enough Registered By Tipster. The figure clearly points to the succession of Fold 2 in the larger Galaxy Z fold 3 and the successor to the new Galaxy Z Flip. Flips in shades of pink as the body turns dark green can also hint at the new colors expected from Samsung.
Samsung accidentally leaked the launch date
Earlier rumors said that Samsung is planning a cheaper version of the Flip. Samsung is expected to use the existing Flip model, known as the Galaxy Z Flip Lite, as the base. Regular Galaxy Z Flip 3 is going to get a significant design upgrade from the 2020 model. Instead of the small 1.1-inch LED display on the outside, Samsung is now going to use a larger 1.9-inch LED display; More razors matching 5G.
Theoretically, it could display complete messages and possibly give users basic device control. A new design adjusts to this larger display in a fashion similar to the old Pixel 2 series.
The Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Z Flip 3 Render have both been widely leaked with launch dates. Other products that Samsung is expected to launch at the event include the Galaxy Watch 4, Galaxy Watch Active 4 and Galaxy Buds 2.
Leak also suggested that Samsung may unveil the Galaxy S21FE along with this folded smartphone. The S21FE is only expected to launch in a select few markets, including the United States. India’s availability is unknown at the moment.
