Xiaomi will launch its updated RedmiBook Pro lineup in China on March 17. Along with the updated laptop lineup, the company will also unveil its much-awaited Redmi K50 lineup of smartphones.
Xiaomi Group China President and Redmi’s GM Lu Weibing announced the launch date via Weibo with a poster that says, “Challenge the extreme performance of thin and light notebooks.”
Weibing has indicated that this launch event will be of utmost importance for the Redmi brand, where we will see several devices getting updated with the latest hardware. The shared teaser hints that the laptops will focus on performance and will be packed inside a thin and light body.
The RedmiBook Pro 2022 will be the successor to the RedmiBook Pro, which was launched in India early last year. The new model will reportedly launch in multiple variants, one of which was recently spotted on Geekbench powered by 12th Gen Intel Core i7-12650H processor. It managed to achieve a single core score of 800 and a multi-core score of 11872.
