Redmi Note 10S vs Redmi Note 10T: Since the beginning of this year, Redmi has launched several phones under its Note 10 series. The latest addition to the series is the Redmi Note 10T. The placement of new notes often confuses consumers as to which of the Note 10 and Note 10S provides a good value for money. Confusion is more because Redmi Note 10 is only 500 rupees cheaper than Note 10S.

The new Redmi Note 10T comes in two variants – 4GB RAM + 64GB storage and 6GB RAM + 128GB storage at Rs 14,499 and Rs 16,499 respectively. Combining chromium white, graphite black, metallic blue and mint green, the phone comes in five fun colors.

By comparison, the Redmi Note 10S starts with 6GB of RAM. The base model of the phone comes with 6GB RAM + 64GB storage at a price of Rs 14,999. The top-end model of the smartphone with 6GB RAM + 128GB storage is priced at Rs 15,999. The phone comes in vibrant colors including deep sea blue, snow white and shade black.

The Redmi Note 10S packs a Super AMOLED display while the Redmi Note 10T offers a FHD + display. The Note 10 comes with a 6.5-inch display with a screen resolution of 2400 x 1080pixels, a 90hz screen refresh rate, and support for further reading.

The Redmi Note 10S comes with a relatively small 6.43-inch Super AMOLED display with a screen resolution of 2400×1080 pixels, low blue light certified by SGS, Reading Mode 3.0, Sunlight Mode 2.0 and others.

The Redmi Note 10S has four cameras on the rear panel, including a 64-megapixel primary sensor and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide angle lens, a 2-megapixel macro and a depth sensor. The phone has some camera features like night mode, video camera mode, time lapse etc. On the front, the Redmi Note 10S offers a 13-megapixel front camera setup that features timed Explosion, AI Beautify and AI Portrait modes.

The Redmi Note 10 comes with a triple rear camera with a 48-megapixel primary sensor, a 2-megapixel macro lens and a 2-megapixel portrait sensor with a single tone flash. On the front, the phone has an 8-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calls.

Which is better, Redmi Note 10S or Redmi Note 10T? If we consider the specification, the Redmi Note 10S certainly looks relatively attractive. For the price the Redmi Note 10S offers good value in terms of camera, battery performance or viewing experience.

As far as design is concerned, both the Redmi Note 10S and the Redmi Note 10 provide better design with camera modules to look the same. These two Redmi phones include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and face unlock support for security.

One of the few areas where the Note 10 shines is 5G support. Of the two, the Note 10 comes with 5G capabilities but not the Redmi Note 10S, but this should not bother Indian consumers as 5G is not yet available in the country.
