FASTag is mandatory if you travel to any city in any part of the country. You get the option to recharge FASTag online through various platforms and PhonePe is one of them. The digital payment platform claims that FASTag recharge has been processed for millions of users in the country so far.
PhonePe Axis Bank, Bank of Baroda, City Union Bank, Federal Bank, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, IDBI Bank, Indus Ind Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Punjab National Bank, RBL, and State Bank are all major FASTag-issuing banks India among others.

How to recharge FASTag through PhonePe
Step 1: Open PhonePe If you don’t have the app, install it on your Android smartphone or iPhone via Google Play Store or Apple App Store
Step 2: On the homepage, click Look at all of them Options in the Recharge and Pay Bill section
Step 3: Click FASTag recharge option Under the Department of Recharge
Step 4: Search for yourself FASTag-issuing bank In the PhonePe app
Step 5: Click on your bank name and then Enter your vehicle registration number
Step 6: Tap on Make sure Button. You will get the details of your FASTag account along with the account holder name and FASTag balance.
Step 7: Please check again Enter your name and car account number the amount you want to recharge your FASTag account.
Step 8: Select Bank Account You want to use or add new bank account details
Step 9: Next, click on Pay the bill Options
Step 10: To recharge successfully, you will need Enter UPI PIN.
Once the FASTag recharge is successfully completed, an SMS will be sent from your bank to the registered mobile number confirming the transaction.
