Realme GT 5G will be the cheapest Snapdragon 888 smartphone yet: Company confirms


Realme GT is the upcoming 5G smartphone for the Indian market. The company’s first laptop in India, Realmy Slim Book, as well as Realmy GT and Master Edition are set to launch in the country today. Ahead of the official launch, a lot has been revealed about the Realm GT smartphone, including the price point.

Realmy India chief Madhav Seth has officially tweeted that the upcoming Realmy GT will be the country’s cheapest Snapdragon 888 SOC smartphone. In a tweet, Seth said that the Realm GT will come at a price “never seen before”. The upcoming gaming smartphone will compete with the Mi 11X Pro and iQOO 7 Legend.

The cheapest Snapdragon 888 phone

Although the company has not yet officially announced the price of Realme GT, but rumors and leaks indicate that the upcoming 5G smartphone will be priced at around Rs 35,000. We suggest you leak such rumors and a pinch of salt and wait for the Chinese smartphone maker to officially confirm the price of the GT.

At the virtual launch event, smartphone maker Realme GT 5G and Realme GT Master Edition will be unveiled. Rumor has it that the latter will be priced below Rs 30,000, while the flagship Snapdragon 888 powered Realme GT will be priced below Rs 35,000. The final price is still unknown.

Realme GT Specification (Confirmed)

Prior to the official launch, Realm unveiled most of the key features of the upcoming flagship 5G smartphone. The Realm GT will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 chipset and the Realm GT Master Edition will be packed with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8G SOC.

Aside from the differences in chipsets, most of the other specifications of the Realme GT and Realme GT Master Edition are more or less the same. The upcoming Realm smartphones are said to come with a 6.43-inch FHD + Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 64-megapixel triple camera system.

Another difference between the two upcoming phones is the battery section. The Realm GT is backed by a larger battery of 4,500 mAh and the Master Edition is packed with a smaller unit of 4,300 mAh for 65W fast charging.
