Realme Flash is the Snapdragon 888 flagship for India with MagDart

Realm India recently came up with a teaser that flashed a dummy phone with the word “flash” to Magdart. It turns out that Flash is the name of its upcoming flagship offer for India. Along with a new leak design it also reveals some of the specifications of this phone and calls it Realmy Flash. It could be the next appropriate Realm flagship for India with the Snapdragon 888 chip, not the Realm GT.

Futo has released a new design language for Realm that seems to be inspired by the OnePlus 95G. It has a triple camera setup on the back, a curved edge display on the front, and support for Realm’s upcoming Magdart Wireless Charging. The leaked poster claims that the flash is the first Android smartphone with a magnetic wireless charge.

The Tip The design from GS Smerena has been published with some of its highlights. The phone is based on Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chip which comes with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. The side has an AMOLED display with a single punch-hole cutout and curved edges. The phone will run RealMe UI 2.0 based on Android 11 at launch.

There is nothing in the cameras but the highlight is the Magdart wireless charging. Leak told us earlier that this is the introduction of realum in magnetic wireless charging technology. Does this mean Realm GT is not coming to India? It’s too early to say, but Real’s Madhav Seth has said great things about GT in the past. It looks like Realm plans to have a two-tier flagship lineup in India. Competing with the OnePlus 9 Pro and iPhone 12 Mini, the Realm Flash could be the full-fledged Snapdragon 888 flagship, while the Realm GT could be even more affordable, focusing only on the specs.
