The Sony PlayStation 5 is currently one of the most sought after gaming consoles in the world, which is why it went out of stock within minutes of its recovery in India. The company will hold its next pre-order sale on August 26 at 12 noon. Sony has quietly updated its PS5 console page with its e-store and pre-order dates. Beyond that, Victory has confirmed sales BGR.in Both the standard and digital versions of the PlayStation 5 will be available on August 2nd.
To recall, the last pre-order sale for the PlayStation 5 took place on July 26 and ended within minutes. Although sites like Amazon, Shopatsc.com ran out of stock in a matter of minutes, some retailer websites such as Games Shop and many more were unable to handle the traffic and were completely shut down for many.

Sony launched its PlayStation 5 standard and digital version worldwide in November last year. Then the soft launch started in India in February this year.
The standard version of the PlayStation 5 is priced at Rs 49,990, while the digital version is priced at Rs 39,990. The retail box includes the console itself, a stand, documentation and a dualsense controller.
Since its launch, the PlayStation 5 has been plagued by stock issues due to high global demand and very low supply. To recall, Sony announced that as of July 18, it was able to sell more than 10 million PS5 consoles worldwide, making it the fastest-selling console ever.
