Poco was rumored to launch the Poco F5 series in global markets including India. The series will include the Poco F5 and the Poco F5 Pro. Both the models were earlier seen as rebranded versions of the Redmi K60 phone.
Now, according to a rumour, Poco may not launch the Poco F5 Pro in India. Noted tipster Kasper Skrzypek revealed that the Poco F5 Pro launch in India seems unlikely due to the unavailability of the ROM.

He added that there is no ROM available for the Indian version codenamed ‘Mondrian’. It is worth noting that the device is yet to launch in other global markets.
And, it is still expected to be a rebranded model. That said, let’s see what to expect from the Poco F5 Pro that will land in markets like Europe.
Poco F5 Pro is expected to come with a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with 2K resolution. The punch-hole screen will refresh at 120Hz and could have HDR10+ support just like the Redmi K60.
It could be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, coupled with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage.
The device may come with a triple camera system with 64MP main lens, 8MP ultra-wide lens, and 2MP macro sensor. The main lens will have OIS support and may have 8K video recording. Similar to the K60, it may again come with a 16MP selfie shooter.
In terms of battery, it could feature the biggest battery ever on a Poco phone, that is, a 5,500mAh battery. Poco can offer 67W wired and 30W wireless fast charging.
As you’d expect, the device is said to boot on the latest Android 13 OS with MIUI 14 on top. For security, it can have an under display fingerprint scanner.
As always, this is all just a rumor and is yet to be confirmed by the brand. That said, do take the information with a pinch of salt. We expect Poco itself to break the silence on the Poco F5 series in the coming weeks or months.
