OnePlus will launch the second generation of its affordable earbuds in India next month. OnePlus Nord Buds 2 is set to launch on April 4 and now we are getting more details about the upcoming earbuds. According to a new leak, the upcoming OnePlus earbuds will last more than a day – 36 hours to be exact. This is good news for those who need long lasting earbuds.
As per tipster Mukul Sharma, the Nords Buds 2 will offer longer battery life with the charging case. He also tweeted other features like up to 25dB active noise cancellation, 12.4mm dynamic titanium driver, 4-mic design, IP55 rating for dust and water resistance, and fast charging. The OnePlus Nord Buds 2 will come in Thunder Gray and Lightning White colours.
Another tipster Paras Guglani had earlier said that the Nord Buds 2 will be the Buds Ace with a different name. The OnePlus Buds Ace earbuds were recently launched in China alongside the Nord Ace 2V. If true, then we will be looking at the following specifications and design for the OnePlus Nord Buds 2.
The OnePlus Buds Nord 2 may come with Bluetooth 5.3, support for AAC and SBC codecs, dynamic bass support, and in-ear design. Support for active noise cancellation also means that the ear tips will feature silicone backing for cushion and better isolation. The ANC on the earbuds will be facilitated by a dedicated noise reduction chip, which was not a part of the first generation Nord Buds. With a runtime of 36 hours, the Nord Buds will provide 10 hours of playback time with a 5-minute charge.
OnePlus hasn’t officially said anything about the specifications of the Nord Buds 2, so we’ll have to wait to know more about the earbuds.
