OnePlus Nord 2 is just a few days away from its official launch in India. Before it happened, the company made it a daily issue to publish some details about it. It has now released the design of the Nord 2.
The official tweet features the back panel of the smartphone, proving what was previously leaked. Here’s what you’ll find.
Release of OnePlus Nord 2 design
From its appearance, the Nord 2 OnePlus 9R has the same rectangular rear camera hump quite similar to the one that has two large camera housings and an LED flash. The difference is that the Nord 2 only got three cameras on the back, while the 9 and four have one.

However, this is a different design for any Nord phone, which so far shows a pill-shaped camera hump up.
Details about the front panel will remain confidential. However, we can expect that it will place a corner punch hole as rumored.
OnePlus Nord 2 Expectations
OnePlus has confirmed several Nord 2 details. To get started, the phone will come with a 50-megapixel main camera, a Sony IMX 766 sensor and two more with support for OIS. The main camera is similar to the OnePlus 9 Pro’s ultra-wide lens. The other two cameras have no sound.
The phone will also get a 6.43-inch AMOLED screen with a 90Hz refresh rate. Underneath the hood, there will be a MediaTek Dimension 1200-AI chip with some AI improvements.
Other details include a 12,500 mAh RAM and 256 GB storage, a 4,500 mAh battery with 45 W fast charging, a combination of OxygenS11 and ColorOS 11.3 on top. We can expect in-display fingerprint scanners, dual speakers and much more.
As for price, we don’t have a concrete word. However, the phone will start at 31,999, which is more expensive than the original Nord.
