It is worth noting that this is not the first time that the CEO of Ola Electric has indicated to the company that it plans to launch an electric car in India soon. Earlier this month, Agarwal hosted a poll through his official Twitter handle, in which he asked his followers what the company was planning to launch on August 15. Options include – a new S1 electric scooter at a more pocket-friendly price, ‘India’s sportiest car’, Ola Sail Factory or the Ola S1 electric scooter in new color variants. The poll showed a close call between a new electric car and a new electric scooter.

Details about the company’s electric car are scarce right now, but Ola has already revealed that its first electric car will be available in a red color variant and sport the Ola logo on both sides. A Livemint report states that the upcoming electric car will sport a 4-door coupe-style roofline.
