Ola S1 electric scooter to get navigation, cruise control, companion app features soon

Ola Electric has finally announced the deadline to roll out the features it promised during the launch. Ola CEO Bhavish Agarwal has announced that the moveOS 2.0 update will be rolled out by the end of April. Agarwal did not specify any specific date for the roll-out. This new update will bring some of the most basic features like navigation, companion app, cruise control, Bluetooth and performance improvements.

Ola Electric had promised to deliver the features within the first six months of launch. As promised by the company, new improvements and features will be introduced on both the Ola S1 and Ola S1 Pro scooters. There is no mention of the hill-hold feature or the Hyper Mode that was promised for the Ola S1 Pro.

Ola S1 Pro Purchase Window

Ola Electric has recently started the third phase procurement for its scooter Ola S1 Pro. The scooter will be available for customers who have special Early Access reservations to buy on March 17. Other customers will be able to buy the scooter on March 18.

Ola also announced a new special edition ocher color which can be bought only on 17th and 18th and will not be available later. Customers can buy any of the other 10 colors that the S1 Pro comes in. Fully digital payment processing will be available through Ola app only.

Ola has claimed that the dispatch of these new orders for Ola S1 Pro from Ola FutureFactory will start from April 2022. Scooters may be delivered a few days or weeks after the start of dispatch.

Soon after the Ola S1 electric scooter, navigation, cruise control, companion app features first appeared on BGR India.
