Nothing the company is releasing a new update for Nothing OS (1). This comes just a few days after the last software update. The new update will not introduce any new features. However, some existing issues will be fixed. The new Nothing OS (1) version 1.1.2 update has been rolled out for the devices. The update has already arrived on Nothing Phone (1) and users can check the availability on their device by going to Settings and checking the Software Update section. The new update is relatively small and its download size is just 38.28 MB.
The Nothing OS (1) version 1.1.2 update will bring changes to the device’s fingerprint sensor, charging performance, UI changes, always-on features, and some bugs and fixes. The new update does not bring any major features or changes to the existing UI or feature list.

Fingerprint Sensor Icon: nothing phone (1) The new update will introduce a new toggle to show the fingerprint icon when the screen is off. What this feature will do is that whenever you move your device, a fingerprint reader icon will appear to guide the user to the right place even when the screen is off.
Always on setting: The default always-on setting has been changed. Before this update, if the user turns on the Always-On feature, then the display remains on even at night. Now, a new default setting has been introduced. If you turn on the Always-On feature, the phone will stop lighting up the display at night.
Better Charging Performance: Nothing claims that the new update has improved the charging performance of the phone. However, there is no specific information about what has changed. It has also been claimed in the update log that the new version will also see better compatibility with third party chargers.
Other Changes: The update log also claims that the new version of Nothing OS (1) has resolved the Bluetooth codec issue. Additionally, there are some minor UI details that have been changed. Apart from all these changes, Nothing OS (1) version 1.1.2 brings some general bug fixes and stability improvements.
Considering that the Nothing Phone (1) is receiving frequent updates, users should expect that most of the major software issues will be fixed soon. The company recently made its second sale, which led to an instant ‘out of stock’ notification.
