Nothing has added to its ever-growing portfolio of equipment today. The company hosted a special event today in which the company launched the Nothing Ear (Stick). This is the third device in Nothing’s portfolio and the second wearable device that the company launched after Nothing Year (1) which was launched in July this year at a price of Rs 5,999. The recently launched Nothing Ear (Stick) offers up to 29 hours of listening time and the company’s Clear Voice technology.
Nothing Ear (Stick) Price & Availability
The recently launched Nothing Year (Stick) costs $99 in the US and 119 euros in the European Union. Globally, Nothing will conduct limited fall wearables on October 28, with sales beginning November 4 in select global markets including the US, UK, Europe and Asia Pacific. The company has started taking pre-orders for the device.
In India, the Nothing Ear (Stick) is priced at Rs 8,499 and will be available in White color variant via Flipkart. The company has not yet disclosed the availability of the wearable.
Nothing Ears (Stick) Specifications & Features
In terms of features and specifications, the Nothing Ear (Stick) without case weighs just 4.4 grams and comes with IP54 dust and water-resistant coating. On the hardware front, the newly launched Nothing Ear (Stick) comes with a 12.6mm dynamic driver with pen (polyethylene naphthalate) and PU (polyurethane) diaphragm.
On the audio front, the Nothing Ear (Stick) features Nothings Clear Voice technology, which the company says has three high-definition mics to analyze over a million sounds for wind-proof and crowd-proof calls and uses an intelligent algorithm. It also has Bass Lock feature for a more optimized audio experience.
For connectivity, the newly launched wearable features support for Google’s Fast Pair technology and Microsoft’s Swift Pair technology. While Fast Pair works with Android 6.0 Mashmallow and above or Google Play Services version 11.7 and above, Microsoft’s Swift Pair feature supports Windows 10, and Windows version 1803 and above.
Talking about the battery, nothing says that its ear stick offers up to seven hours of play time and up to three hours of talk time on a single charge. With the charging case, it offers up to 29 hours of listening time and up to 12 hours of talk time. Nothing says that just 10 minutes of charge can provide nearly nine hours of run time.
