Earlier this month, Nothing finally broke silence and revealed the release date for Nothing Year (2). The Ear (2) will launch on March 22 and will be available in most markets where the Nothing Phone (1) and other products from the brand are already at retail.
While the release date was confirmed, the design of the earbuds was not officially revealed. Now, although not officially, marketing materials (by onleaks Via tech outlook) The phone has fully featured earbuds.

The Nothing Ear (2) appears to have a similar design to the Ear (1). There won’t be a major difference in looks, but in terms of features, the earbuds are expected to get a lot of improvements.
The look of the earbuds will be transparent and it will come in white colour. The In Ear (2) is said to come with 11.6mm drivers, similar to the Nothing Ear (1). The earbuds will provide six hours of playback time without the case. With the charging case, the earbuds are said to provide 36 hours of usage.
The earbuds will support Qi-compatible charging via the USB Type-C port for charging the earbuds to the brim. Buds will have personalized active noise cancellation feature. The buds are also expected to come with some other listening modes.
Nothing will offer an IP54 rating for dust and splash resistance. Furthermore, some of the past leaks suggested the earbuds to have a multipoint Bluetooth feature.
Nothing closes the ear (1) immediately after launching the Nothing ear stick. But with the launch of the Ear(2), there is no hope for the Ear Stick to continue selling as the earbuds will be a completely different product.
The company is also working on a flagship-grade smartphone that will come with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. It is expected that many new features will come in it and there will be some improvements in the camera.
While the new earbuds will be released next week, the upcoming phone, the phone (2), is still a few more months away. The device will be launched in H2 of this year only.
