Realme launched the GT Neo 5 smartphone in the Chinese market last week. The device comes with the fastest charging in the world – 240W. It is powered by a flagship Snapdragon 8 series chipset, which makes it a powerful phone in the upper mid-range segment.
It looks like Realme has another GT Neo 5 phone, this one in the lower mid-range segment. According to the AnTuTu result shared on Weibo, the new Snapdragon 7 series phone is believed to be the upcoming Realme GT Neo 5 SE.
Alleged Realme GT Neo 5 SE benchmarked on AnTuTu
A Weibo user has shared AnTuTu benchmark results of the alleged Realme GT Neo 5 SE. The smartphone has scored a total of 1,029,731 points on the platform. This is higher than newer mid-range Dimensity processors such as the Dimensity 8200, which scored 8,62,438 (tested on the iQOO Neo 7).
The benchmark device is powered by an unknown Snapdragon chipset. It is believed to be the yet-to-be-released Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 1 SoC.
Unfortunately, there are no other details other than the score and processor. However, we expect more specs to emerge as we get closer to its release.
Currently, Realme has the Realme GT Neo 5, which has grabbed headlines due to its fast charging speed.
realme gt neo 5 specifications
Realme GT Neo 5 sports a 6.74-inch punch-hole AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution of 2772 x 1240 pixels. It has 144Hz refresh rate and 2160Hz PWM dimming support.
The device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB UFS 3.1 storage.
It houses a 50MP triple camera setup and a 16MP selfie snapper. The rear camera has OIS support and can shoot 4K videos at 60fps.
It comes in two options – a 4,600mAh battery + 150W charging and a 5,000mAh battery + 240W charging.
While 150W charging is blazingly fast, 240W fast charging is unmatched as it is the first phone with such charging capabilities.
Interestingly, the device comes with a charging adapter in the box, unlike some other manufacturers who are removing the charger to reduce costs. The device boots on Android 13 OS out of the box.
