CLASS is returning for a second season. Netflix India on Monday announced that it is renewing murder mystery cum teen drama Class for a second season, but did not reveal the release date. Adapted from the global hit Spanish series, Elite, Class, debuted on Netflix on January 17 to mostly positive reviews. The latest show from Netflix stars Gurfateh Peerzada, Anjali Sivaraman, Ayesha Kanga, Chayan Chopra, Chintan Rachha, Kawaiyal Singh, Madhyama Sehgal, Moses Kaul, Naina Bhan, Piyush Khati and Jane Shaw.

Based in the backdrop of Delhi, CLASS depicts the story of class divide. Three scholarship students from the other side of the track join the elite academy of students at Delhi’s most expensive Hampton International School, who have the world in their hands. But a series of unfortunate events, involving mostly newcomers being tortured, leads to the murder of one of the students. Till the time an accused is arrested, everyone remains within the ambit of the law. Season 1 of CLASS ends with the real killer being revealed and whether they will be arrested.
