Electronic Arts (EA) is back again with its next title for the popular Need for Speed franchise. This time around, Criterion Games is joining EA after a long time to bring the new Need for Speed Unbound. The trailer has been revealed, a release date has been given, and even pre-orders and pricing have been announced. Let’s see what is presented in the next NFS title.
NFS Unbound is now available for pre-order for PC and consoles
When it comes to the NFS franchise, the recent titles were not well received by critics and fans of the franchise. NFS Heat, one of the most recent titles released a few years back, was not considered very good in the franchise due to poor graphics, controls, and overall story.
It appears that considering the feedback, EA and Criterion are together bringing an entirely new NFS experience. The next NFS title will be nothing like some of the older titles in the NFS Unbound series.
NFS Unbound will be sail-shaded and feature anime-style graphics that will provide a pure street-racing experience. Yes, you read that right, the NFS is going back to its roots with a street-style racing format.
The title will feature both a single-player campaign as well as a multi-player mode supporting cross-play. This time around the game is expected to be a great campaign and EA is roping in American rap artist A$AP Rocky. The announced trailer also features some music by the rap artist.
Need for Speed Unbound will be available on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC starting December 2. On PC, it will be available through the Epic Store, EA Store, and Steam. It is now available for pre-order worldwide.
The Standard Edition of the game can be pre-ordered on Steam for Rs 3,499, while the Palace Edition, which offers driving effects, artwork, some pre-deposited cash for multi-player, and more, comes pre-ordered for Rs 4,299. – is up for order. ,
