According to various media reports, Adani’s net worth has risen sharply since April 2020. As of March 18, 2020, Adani’s net worth was USD 4.91 billion.
Media reports suggest that in the last 20 months, Adani’s net worth has suddenly increased by more than 1808 percent, translating to about .8 83.89 billion. In the last 20 months, the total assets of Mukesh Ambani, chairman of Reliance Industries, have grown by 250 per cent, translating to about .7 54.7 billion.
According to an ET report, Reliance Industries was under pressure following the recent cancellation of the O2C deal. The company was quoted 1.07 per cent lower at Rs 2,360.70. In comparison, shares of Adani Group traded much higher than expected. At the same time, Adani Enterprise was up 2.94 per cent at Rs 1,757.70.
Earlier, the Bloomberg Billionaire Index suggested that Adani’s current net worth was USD 88.8 billion, about 2 2.2 billion less than the total assets of Mukesh Ambani, chairman of Reliance Industries Limited.
The Ambani-led company has recently partnered with technology brands such as Facebook, Google and more to target Digital India. Reliance Jio and Google have recently announced the company’s first smartphone JioPhone Next. The idea of JioPhone Next is to transfer 2G and 3G customers to 4G experience. In India, the price of JioPhone Next starts from Rs. 6499.
Delivery of the JioPhone Next has been somewhat delayed, and experts believe that the reason behind the global chip storage.
