Microsoft has started rolling out ChatGPT-powered Bing on desktop to early testers around the world, and it will also be available on Android and iOS in the coming weeks, media reported.
The tech giant is working on a “substantially optimized interface” for Bing.com’s chat UI for Android and iOS, including all-new OpenAI-powered content for Windows, the latest reports, citing sources.
In an email sent to testers, Microsoft confirmed that the mobile experience is not ready yet, as per the report.
“We don’t have a mobile experience ready yet — we’re actively working on it and will have it soon. Until then, please continue to use the new Bing on desktop and download the Bing app from your favorite app store to make sure you’re ready for an amazing experience when the mobile version is ready,” the company said in the email.
Furthermore, the report states that the company is still optimizing Bing.com’s AI UX for the mobile form factor. Meanwhile, Microsoft is reportedly planning to feature its new Prometheus model in its core productivity apps such as Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
In the coming weeks, Microsoft will detail its productivity plans for integrating OpenAI’s language AI technology and its AI models, reports The Verge, citing sources.
