For the month of October, the country’s largest carmaker – Maruti Suzuki is offering discounts of up to Rs 48,000 on its Nexa range of models for October 2022. Models available with mileage include Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Maruti Suzuki Ciaz and Maruti Suzuki Ignis. ,

Maruti Suzuki Ciaz

Benefits up to Rs 40,000 on Maruti Suzuki Ciaz include cash benefit of Rs 10,000, exchange bonus of Rs 25,000 and corporate bonus of Rs 5,000. Powering the Ciaz in its BS6 avatar is a 105hp, 1.5-litre petrol engine – which comes with Suzuki’s Smart Hybrid technology – that also does the duty on the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga and XL6. This

Maruti Suzuki Ignis Discount

Maruti Suzuki is offering benefits up to Rs 48,000 on the Ignis. There will be a cash benefit of Rs 28,000 along with an exchange bonus of Rs 15,000 and a corporate profit of Rs 5,000. Under the hood is the BS6-compliant version of the 1.2-litre, four-cylinder K-12 petrol engine that produces 83hp and 113Nm of torque (same as the BS4 model). Gearbox options include both a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT automatic unit. In BS6 form, the fuel efficiency of both the engine-gearbox combinations remains the same as that of their respective BS4 couterparts, clocking in at 20.89kpl.

Maruti Suzuki Baleno Discount

Maruti Suzuki is offering a discount of at least Rs 5,000 on the Maruti Suzuki Baleno. Powering the refreshed Baleno is a single 90hp, 1.2-litre, four-cylinder DualJet K12N petrol engine. The engine can be mated to either a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT automatic gearbox (replacing the CVT unit of the older model).

In September 2022, Maruti Suzuki shipped a total of 1,48,380 passenger vehicles (PVs), more than the number of 63,111 units sold during the same period last year. Maruti Suzuki sold 8,52,694 vehicles in the domestic market between April 2022 and September 2022, an increase of 35.73 per cent from 6,28,228 units sold during the same period last year.

Compared to 1,04,927 units sold during the same period a year ago, the company’s exports grew by 26.40% to 1,32,632 units in the same month. Maruti Suzuki’s overall (domestic + OEM + exports) grew by 34.39 per cent, with sales of 9,85,326 units as against 7,33,155 units sold during the same time last year.
