LG has added a new audio product to its portfolio in India – Tone Free FP Earbuds that come with ‘UV Nanotechnology’. The new earbuds have some strange features like UV sanitizing case, ‘whispering mode’.

The new LG Tone Free FP earbuds price in India is Rs 13,990. As for availability, the earbuds can be purchased through the LG online store and select partner channels. The new earbuds from the LG Tone Free FP series will come in two color options – Charcoal Black and Pearl White.

As mentioned, the LG Tone Free FP earbuds feature ‘UV Nanotechnology’ along with the pearl-shaped case of the earbuds, which has ‘ultraviolet light’ to ‘sanitize’ the earbuds. The earbuds also feature technology from renowned British audio tech company Meridian Audio and LG’s partner in ‘delivering better sound’.
The brand cited a partnership with Meridian for the LG Tone Free FP, which brings in ‘headphone spatial processing’ technology to ‘give users a more natural sound’. The earbuds also get a ‘Whispering Mode’ which turns an earbud into a microphone in noisy environments. To activate it, users can connect by downloading Tone Free app from Play Store or Apple Play Store. The LG Tone Free also includes an ‘Earbuds Finder Tool’, IPX4-rated sweat resistance.
The earbuds sport ‘medical grade silicone ear gel’ in three different sizes to provide superior fit and comfort. Ear gels are hypoallergenic and reduce skin irritation. The LG Tone Free FP earbuds support touch controls and can be switched between ANC and ambient modes with a single tap. Double-tap on any pair triggers the volume setting. According to the company, the ‘Plug & Wireless’ earbuds offer a new sound experience when a Bluetooth source is not available. The device offers long battery life of up to 24 hours.
