It’s an exciting time to be a gamer, Lenovo said earlier today at the launch of the Legan 5 Pro. With improved design and updated internals, the new Legan 5 Pro is aimed at delighting gamers looking for a serious machine to play games. Lenovo is relying on AMD’s powerful Raizen 5000 series processor as well as NVIDIA’s RTX30 series graphics card for the new model. The company also launched its Legion Ultimate Support service in India.
Before we get into the specs and features, look at the variants and prices here. The Ligan 5 Pro is available in two variants, with the base version priced at Rs 1,39,990. Note that this version comes with NVIDA GeForce RTX 3060 GPU and 16GB RAM. There is another variant with NVIDIA RTX 3070 GPU and 32GB RAM which is priced at Rs 1,59,990.
The Legan Ultimate Support service can be purchased for Rs 999 for one year but will bring you back Rs 1,999 for the same for two years.
Features of Ligan 5 Pro
The Legion 5 Pro comes with a 16-inch IPS display with a resolution of 2,560 x 1,600 pixels, a refresh rate of 165Hz, a peak brightness of 500 nits and a ratio of 16:10. In fact, this model outperforms the Lenovo display: 100 percent SRGB coverage, HDR 40000 certification, color calibration support from Dolby Vision, FreeSync, G-Sync and X-Right Pantone factory.
Lenovo is only offering the Indian variant of this Legion model with this MG Raizen 7 5800H processor which can be had with any NVDIIA GeForce RTX 3060 or RTX 3070 card. Both the variants come in 1600 DDR4 RAM at 3200 MHz which can be expanded up to 32 GB. Users will get M2 PCI NVM SSD storage up to 1TB which can be expanded up to 2TB. The laptop runs on Windows 10 at the moment but Lenovo promises to upgrade to Windows 11 when it becomes available.
For audio, a pair of 2W speakers is present on the ship but you can always plug a headphone through the 3.5mm headphone jack. Joining this audio jack are four USB 3.0 Type-A ports, one USB Type-C port, one HDMI port and one Ethernet port. You’ll also get Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity. Tivity depends on Lenovo’s fast charge of an 80Wh battery that promises a quick refill from 0-50 percent in 30 minutes. Lenovo has modified the aero system for better cooling as well as providing three-zone RGB lighting.
