JioPages retains a new feature for those who use the Indian web browser on Android TV or the Jio set-top box. The new study mode will now allow children to study on TV without any hassle.
This will prove helpful in the ongoing study-home model, which children are still getting used to. Here is what is offered
JioPages has got a new study mode for kids
Study mode in JioPages means solving many problems while children often read at home. These include limited availability of devices, confusion of smartphones, exposure to small screens that can affect the eyes. And more.
The new mode will provide users with curated videos and class-based content on a variety of topics: all coming with easy navigation. There will be thematic channels, which can also be added as a preference. It also has the ability to block ads. Quick links will allow kids to access popular learning sites on the geopage.
The new JioPages mode comes in addition to the existing standard and camouflage modes. While the first is a default option, the latter enables a more personal browsing experience.
Those who will try the Jio web browser for the first time can download the app on their Android TV through the Google Play Store. Jio set-top box users will find JioPages as a pre-installed app. Once the app is installed, they will have the option to choose one of the aforementioned modes. Mode can be changed by accessing the switch mode option in the address bar.
To recall, JioPages recently entered Android TV. It was initially launched as an Android app, which has now garnered more than 10 million users. It comes with various modes, quicklinks, top sites, short videos, quizzes and live score cards and more features.
There is no question about whether JioPages will have a study mode for the Android app.
