Lastly, the plan offers a one-year premium subscription to Disney+ Hotstar.
Jio Rs 4,199 prepaid recharge plan
This recharge plan offers 3GB daily data for a period of 365 days, which is a total of 1095GB data in a year. Lastly, the plan offers a one-year premium subscription to Disney+ Hotstar.
Why did Jio discontinue these recharge plans?
It is worth noting that Jio has not specified why it has discontinued these recharge plans, but it is being speculated that the move has something to do with the streaming rights of the next IPL season. Disney+ Hotstar previously held the streaming rights for the Indian Premier League. The rights have now been acquired by Reliance-owned Viacom18. Hence, losing access to IPL streaming rights could be one of the reasons behind Jio’s move.
