Jeff Bezos resigned as CEO of Amazon earlier this month and is now ready for his next journey. Last month, Bezos announced his dream of traveling to the edge of space. Today, July 20, is the day when Bezos’ childhood dream will come true as he embarks on his Blue Origin rocket.

The richest man in the world is flying his own space agency, Blue Origin, with a deputy subpitable capsule and rocket system at New Shepard. It is the unchanged flight of the world into space with all-civilian crews.

Bezos will be joined by his brother Mark Bezos, an 82-year-old pilot Wally Funk, an 82-year-old pilot and an 18-year-old high school graduate named Oliver Daiman. Damen Hall will be the first customer to ship to New Shepard. The Blue Origin spacecraft will take Bezos and his crew across the Karman Line, where they will enjoy a great view of the Blue Planet before parachuting back to Earth.

The space mission is called NS-16 and will send people into space for the first time in blue source.
