The device also has thick bezels, mostly noticeable at the bottom. The screen size is yet to be confirmed but it is expected to be as large as the panel on the iQOO Z6.
By offering a notch panel, iQOO positions itself in line with Samsung. Samsung offers a notch display in this range. It appears that not all iQOO fans have liked the way the iQOO Z7 5G has gone with the notch display.
Previous leaks have suggested that the device may come with an LCD panel with 120Hz refresh rate. But there is a possibility that it might get an AMOLED panel as well, that said, let’s wait for the brand to confirm.
For cameras, the device could feature a dual camera or triple camera system with a 64MP main lens. The main lens will support OIS (Optical Image Stabilization). For the unversed, this feature has been common in similarly priced phones (Rs 20,000 to Rs 30,000 range) lately.
Talking about the performance, there is some confusion. Some said that it will be powered by a Snapdragon 778, while some say that it is the same old Snapdragon 695 chip. However, since iQOO recently revealed the benchmark scores of the phone, it could be powered by either the Dimensity 920 or the Dimensity 930 SoC.
iQOO recently revealed its AnTuTu score and it scored 480,000+ points. The device is expected to have 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
In terms of battery, the device could pack a massive battery with fast charging support. It is said to boot on Android 13 OS with FuntouchOS 13 on top.
