Instagram is expected to change the way you link to stories soon. As previously rumored, the social media platform is ready to launch link stickers to replace swipe-ups. This means that people can now add share links via stickers that can be tapped to access a specific link.
According to app researcher Zhen Manchun Wang, the feature will go live on Instagram from August 30, which is about a week from now.
The sticker of the Instagram link is coming
The new Instagram Store Sticker is expected to be available to users who already have access to swipe-up links. For unselected, functionality is limited to business accounts and those that have been verified or have more than 10,000 followers.
There is no question about whether the functionality will reach those users who do not meet the above criteria. However, it was said earlier that Instagram plans to expand this feature to more people.
IG says ipe0 swipe up links will go away from august and I should use “link sticker”
But I searched my story sticker sheet and I didn’t see the link sticker at all (I didn’t roll out).
Does that mean I lose the ability to add links to my story?

The new sticker will give people more flexibility and control. For example, like many other stickers that are available, people will choose how they want to present their link sticker by adding different styles, sizes and more edits. Also, it will allow people to respond to a story that has a link. Currently, such an alternative is not available.
It was also pointed out that this feature will be tested for a group of people to ensure the safety of users. This will be done by making sure that nothing offensive is shared. This is exactly why Facebook’s proprietary platform will think before making the capability easier for everyone. More details can be found in this regard.
The new sticker will join existing Instagram stickers which include location, GIF, poll, caption, music and many more.
