Infinix on Friday launched the all-new Infinix Smart 7 HD in India. As the name suggests, it is the affordable variant of the Smart 7 that was launched a few weeks back.
Some of the key highlights of the phone include a large 6.6-inch display, dual cameras, Unisoc chipset, and 5,000mAh battery. Interestingly, the device is priced under Rs 6,000.

In the first sale, buyers will be able to grab the device for Rs 5,399 with SBI bank card offer.
It comes in Ink Black, Jade White, Silk Blue, and Apple Green. The first sale on Flipkart is scheduled for May 4 at 12 noon.

The Smart 7 HD has a similar design footprint to the Smart 7 that we reviewed in April. However, to change things up, the company has played with the colours. The HD model’s color options are a bit more washed out.
Not just the internals, Infinix has recycled some of the internals as well. The device features a 6.6-inch water-drop notch display with HD+ resolution. It is an LCD panel with 500 nits peak brightness and standard 60Hz refresh rate.
The camera island is also the same, including the lens placement. But it has an 8MP main lens and an AI secondary lens as opposed to the 13MP setup on the Smart 7. For clicking selfies, there is a 5MP camera at the front.
Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by the Unisoc SC9863A1 SoC paired with 2GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. It houses a 5,000mAh battery without any kind of fast charging support.
The device features a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner for security and has triple slots for two SIMs and a microSD card. It boots on Android 12 OS out of the box with XOS 12 on top.
