India is all set to enter the 5G era: PM Modi


During his address to the nation on the occasion of 75 years of independence, PM Modi highlighted the entry into the ‘5G-era’. He also lauded the ‘Made-in-India’ brand of technology which is making it possible to find technological solutions within the country.

India is on the arrival of 5G mobile services, PM Modi claimed during his address to the nation. The Prime Minister said that it is India’s “technical” and digital technology to bring reforms in every field.

PM Modi said, ‘Today we are all set to enter the 5G era. You don’t need to wait too long before we match the global steps. We are ensuring that optical fiber reaches every village till the last mile. I am fully aware that the dream of Digital India will come true through rural India.

He further said, “Today I am happy that four lakh Common Service Centers of India are being developed in the villages, which are being managed by the youth of that village. The nation can be proud that there are four lakh common service centers in the villages. Digital entrepreneurs are being nurtured, and rural populations are getting accustomed to benefit from all services. Such is the power of India to be a technology hub in itself.”

PM Modi emphasized the importance of three growing aspects of the technology sector to enhance the lives of the people of India. In his address, he said, “This Digital India movement of semiconductors development entering the 5G era, spreading the network of optical fiber is not only to establish itself as modern and developed, but also to establish itself as one of the three internal missions. The reason is possible. Complete transformation of education ecosystem, revolution in health infrastructure and improvement in the quality of agricultural life will be possible only through digitization.
